"Wayna Nay?!" will bring together nearly 50 artists under the direction of Joe Daou for the opening night of the Ajaltoun Festival, blending music, theater and song.

The ensemble has never performed there. Yet, on the opening night of the Ajaltoun Festival on Aug. 24, Les Cordes Résonnantes and the Municipality of Ajaltoun will pay tribute to the Baalbeck International Festival and its 70th anniversary with "Wayna Nay?!" The show was created in partnership with the municipality under the direction of Joe Daou, co-founder of the ensemble and its conductor.It is the idea of Lebanon as inspired by the Baalbeck Festival that Joe Daou wanted to highlight: a Lebanon that looks beyond itself and that the festival has helped put on the international cultural stage.
