The Iranian military on Saturday accused the United States of fueling an ‘’escalation of tensions’’ in the Middle East conflict and warned Washington’s allies in the region to reconsider their cooperation.
’’The United States is quickly moving down the path of escalating tensions in the regional war,’’ Iran’s armed forces chief, Gen. Ali Abdollahi, said in a statement quoted by state television.
’’Any country that stands as a defensive shield for criminal and aggressive America will be doomed to the flames of war,’’ he added.
