Steadfast on her orange line, Mona Khalil lived to protect life
Severely wounded in the abdomen on June 5 by the Israeli bombing that destroyed the Orange House, environmental activist Mona Khalil died two weeks later at age 76. Thus ends the heroic journey of the Jane Goodall of sea turtles.
