BEIRUT — The Health Ministry said on Monday that Israeli strikes on Lebanon between March 2 and May 25 have killed 3,185 people and injured 9,633. In a statement, the ministry said 124 medical personnel and 218 children or minors are among those killed. In the past 24 hours alone, 34 people have been killed and 62 others injured.
A cease-fire brokered in mid-April in Washington and later extended twice has not halted Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa, nor Hezbollah attacks against Israeli forces in Lebanese territory and northern Israel.
