Lebanese Army Commander Gen. Rodolph Haykal on Saturday inspected the headquarters of the 5th Intervention Regiment in Kfar Dounine, in the Bint Jbeil district, where he reviewed the operational situation following the implementation of the cease-fire agreement with Israel. Haykal met with officers and soldiers and praised their courage and sacrifices.
“Today, hope rests on the army, and the Lebanese people are counting on it during this difficult time in our nation’s history. The institution is strong and united despite its limited resources. The command is proud of you and your professionalism. Rise to the challenges,” he said.
