BEIRUT — On Wednesday, the Israeli army bombed the Qasmieh bridge in the Sour district, the last connection between the coastal city of Sour and the rest of the country
This is the seventh bridge over the Litani River destroyed by the Israeli army since the start of the war on March 2, completely isolating this part of southern Lebanon from the rest of the country.
The Lebanese army had previously announced that it had withdrawn from its nearby post after receiving an "Israeli threat to target it."
Thousands of families have remained in the area despite Israel's regular forced evacuation threats.
