Two blasts were heard near Erbil airport, which hosts advisers from the U.S.-led anti-jihadist coalition, in Iraq's northern Kurdistan region, an AFP journalist said on Monday.
Since the Middle East war erupted on Feb. 28, shadowy groups have been claiming near daily attacks on U.S. interests in the country and beyond.
