Here is a provisional tally of the number of people Israel killed overnight and this morning in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa, according to a count made by L'Orient-Le Jour based on reports of airstrikes filed by our correspondents.
Most of these deadly Israeli attacks were carried out by drone strikes on vehicles in transit or by air strikes on residential homes.
Southern Lebanon:
- Four people killed in Kfar Roummane (Nabatieh);
- Three people killed in Harouf (Nabatieh);
- Two people killed in Nabatieh Fawqa (Nabatieh);
- Two people killed in Deir Zahrani (Nabatieh);
- One person killed in Hamadieh (Sour);
- One person killed in Burj Rahal (Sour);
Bekaa:
• Three people killed in Mashghara (West Bekaa)
Many others have been wounded.
