BEIRUT — Lebanese residents, already battered by the economic crisis since 2019, will have to dig even deeper into their pockets this month as generator bills surge, as the wars in Lebanon and Iran, and the latter’s spillover in the region continue, driving up oil prices.Hamdi Moutad, a 35-year-old 3D designer living in Ras Beirut, said his private generator bill rose by 25% this month.
