Royal Jordanian airline announced, in a message sent to Lebanese airlines and travel agencies, that it will resume its regular flights between Amman and Beirut starting Thursday, March 19.

Since the outbreak of the Hezbollah-Israel war, the Jordanian airline had been canceling flights on a day-to-day basis rather than announcing a prolonged suspension.

It is now the first foreign carrier to formally announce the resumption of its routes to Beirut since the start of the war. Jordanian airspace, which was partially closed in the early days of the conflict at the end of February, has been almost fully reopened for about two weeks.
