Shortly after the release of hundreds of thousands of documents related to the Epstein affair, L’Orient-Le Jour published, on February 24, a profile of Franco-Lebanese pianist Simon Ghraichy, the “protégé” of child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, whose support helped launch his career.Among the various favors exchanged between the patron and his protégé was an unusual request from Epstein in March 2017: he asked Ghraichy to find “a young assistant, aged 20 to 24,” “intelligent and multilingual.” Epstein added that he had previously worked with “a wonderful ballet dancer” who had recently married.A few days later, Ghraichy suggested a candidate he knew, a ballet dancer. “Only problem (...), she’s more like thirty.
