Commenting on the Israeli landing operation in Nabi Sheet, the Israeli army’s Arabic-language spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, said that the remains of pilot Ron Arad were not found.
“As part of Israeli army activities in Lebanon, special forces carried out an operation last night in order to find clues regarding the missing pilot Ron Arad ... No clues related to him were found at the site,” Adraee said on X. He also stated that this operation did not result in casualties among the army’s ranks.
This operation, which involved heavy bombardments followed by a commando ground operation, resulted in at least 26 deaths on the Lebanese side.
