During a Cabinet meeting at the Grand Serail, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam called for the arrest of any Iranian individuals in Lebanon who are linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Lebanon.
Nawaf Salam "asked the Cabinet to make a decision instructing the relevant ministries and agencies to take the necessary measures to prevent any military or security activity by the Revolutionary Guards in order to arrest and repatriate them to Iran," said Information Minister Paul Morcos.
This call came as the Israeli army on Tuesday had given a 24-hour ultimatum to Iranian individuals in Lebanon to leave the country, ahead of planned strikes targeting them. Tehran responded by threatening to hit Israeli embassies around the world if its nationals were targeted in Lebanon.
