Kurdish forces will withdraw Saturday morning from an area in northern Syria that the army has ordered them to evacuate, their leader Mazloum Abdi announced Friday.
“At the request of friendly countries and mediators … we have decided to withdraw our forces tomorrow morning at 7 a.m. from the eastern Aleppo area and reposition ourselves east of the Euphrates,” he said on X.
