The government says it will take into account the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) observations on the draft law for the restoration of the financial order and the return of deposits, which L'Orient-Le Jour reviewed.According to an official source, the bill will not be submitted to the Cabinet without the IMF’s approval.But as the draft progresses toward its final version, the IMF remarks indicate more than minor adjustments. They amount to a requirement to rebuild the plan's framework so it does not rest on a fragile political compromise that would be legally vulnerable and financially disruptive.
