The Israeli army announced Thursday afternoon that it would soon carry out strikes in southern Lebanon against what it describes as "Islamist Hezbollah" movement infrastructure, and called for evacuations in two villages in the region.
Israeli forces will "soon attack Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure throughout southern Lebanon in order to counter its illegal attempts to restore its activities in the region," said Avichay Adraee, the Israeli army's spokesperson for the Arabic-speaking public.
In an "urgent message" in Arabic, Adraee, maps in hand, pointed to two buildings in the villages of Jbaa and Mahrouna, calling on residents within at least a 300-meter radius to move away.
