BEIRUT — Mansouri, which was already targeted the previous day by multiple demolitions, was subjected to 20 demolition operations by the Israeli army on Wednesday. The ongoing destruction continues in this coastal village in the Sour district, as houses are being torn down one after another in an area divided by the so-called "Yellow Line" in southern Lebanon.

One of the roughly 23 reported demolitions occurred near the public school of Mansouri, where a drone was seen dropping explosives on its roof, while other demolitions by bulldozers were reported in the same area alongside these explosions, according to our correspondent in the South.

Additional demolitions occurred in Tayr Harfa, within the Sour district, as well as in Qantara and Beni Hayan in the Marjayoun district. In the same area, Israeli tank maneuvers led to house burnings and demolitions with bulldozers in Khiam, a town heavily damaged in southern Lebanon. Subsequently, three minor explosions were reported in Khiam's Jebali neighborhood.

In addition to these daily, methodical Israeli demolitions in the occupied villages of the “buffer zone,” which spans more than 600 square kilometers of Lebanese territory, Israeli drones have resumed deadly strikes in the Nabatieh region, already pummeled in recent days by air and artillery, where almost 30 people have been killed over five days, marking the most significant escalation since the last, theoretical, cease-fire announced on June 29.

Three wounded, one seriously, in Zibdin

One of these drones targeted a motorcycle in Marj Harouf/Zibdin, west of Nabatieh, wounding three people, one of them seriously, according to our correspondent. This is the first time since June 20, 2026, that an Israeli attack has targeted this locality.

Earlier, during the night, two Israeli air raids targeted Kfar Tibnit and the outskirts of Nabatieh Fawqa, while heavy artillery shelled Dohat Kfar Roummane. Other artillery fire was later reported in Zawtar Sharqieh (Nabatieh), while aviation again struck Wadi Slouqi, near Shaqra (Bint Jbeil), as well as Wadi Ziqin (Sour).

In addition, Israeli soldiers deliberately set fire to the Wadi Slouqi gas station.

Moreover, Lebanese Red Cross rescuers managed to recover the body of a person killed between the villages of Mansouri and Haniyeh, south of Sour. The body was transferred to the Jabal Amel Hospital morgue in Sour.
