Less than two weeks after the end of the Iran-Israel war, the Houthis have returned to the regional spotlight. On Sunday, a ship was struck in the Red Sea in an operation not immediately claimed. Israel quickly retaliated by bombing ports and infrastructure controlled by the Yemeni rebels. The next day, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree confirmed: “We targeted the Magic Seas ship with two unmanned boats, five ballistic and cruise missiles and three drones,” he said in a video.The vessel, flying a Liberian flag and owned by a Greek company, was hit about 94 kilometers southwest of Hodeida.
