BEIRUT — The Foreign Affairs Ministry announced Thursday the extension of the closure of its document legalization department, located in Achrafieh, until further notice. This decision follows a statement from the ministry warning of the temporary closure of this section for renovations since May 12, initially for a period of two months.
The legalization section, which handles the official certification of documents, particularly for foreign procedures, was closed for renovation works undertaken to "facilitate the future proper functioning of this vital public service to ensure a faster and more efficient service." Authentication procedures, planned exclusively via LibanPost during this period, will continue through this service.
