Men's fashion in Paris: Regression versus depression
The Parisian men's fashion week for spring-summer 2026 concluded on June 29. At this grand celebration of style, more than 60 brands presented their vision of "gender," joyful and colorful, in contrast with the gloominess of the period.

Inaugurated as tradition demands by the graduation collections of students from the French Institute of Fashion, the men's week already began on an eccentric note from the docks of the City of Fashion and Design, mixing volumes, colors, movement, anthropology and delirious accessories, including lace-up fins. On June 24, collections from Meta Campana Collective, an ode to the femininity of men with its long fitted skirts and open back knit dresses, were shown. The same day featured the collection by the Études Studio duo with a predominantly plum palette, white stripes and floaty volumes. Saint Laurent, under the guidance of Anthony Vaccarello, exploded with warm tones like cinnamon, saffron, chocolate, sun with hints of leaf green and plum. Pleated sarouel pants and wide shorts formed with structured tops and sturdy shoulders...
