After a relatively calm night in southern Lebanon, Tuesday saw a drone strike that lightly injured two people, according to information from L'Orient Today's correspondent in the region.
During the night, the Israeli army fired machine guns from its positions towards the locality of Odaisseh (Marjayoun), before launching flares over the border area between the villages of Mais al-Jabal and Blida.
At 10 a.m., an Israeli drone carried out a strike on a house in Harouf, specifically on Jabal al-Ahmar, located between Harouf and Shoukin (Nabatieh). The attack resulted in two presumably minor injuries: a man and a young boy. A few minutes later, another Israeli drone hit a pickup truck in a neighborhood of the border village of Kfar Kila (Marjayoun), without causing damage or casualties. No other incidents were reported in the afternoon.
In the Bekaa, the day also remained calm after reports by some sites falsely suggested tensions at the Lebanese-Syrian border ahead of the religious holiday of Ashoura. According to L'Orient Today's correspondent, no tension or military deployment was observed on the Syrian side.
