In a statement, Middle East Airlines (MEA) announced the cancellation of several flights due to airspace closures by some Gulf countries, following the Iranian strike on the American base in al-Udeid, Qatar, and shortly before the cease-fire was announced by U.S. President Donald Trump. To compensate for these disruptions, the company also issued an updated flight schedule with additional flights.
The cancellations include flights ME430/ME431 and ME428/ME429 to and from Dubai, as well as flights ME434/ME435 to and from Doha. Flight ME437, scheduled for a return from Doha to Beirut, was also canceled, with the aircraft reassigned.
To enable affected passengers to travel, MEA will operate a series of exceptional flights today, June 24, 2025:
ME2426 (arrival at 6:05 p.m., departure at 1:00 p.m.): Dubai – Beirut
ME2427 (arrival at 9:25 p.m., departure at 7:05 p.m.): Beirut – Dubai
ME430 (arrival at 1:15 a.m., departure at 9:00 p.m.): Dubai – Beirut
ME431 (arrival at 4:35 a.m., departure at 2:15 a.m.): Beirut – Dubai
ME432 (arrival at 4:35 p.m., departure at 1:00 p.m.): Doha – Beirut
ME433 (arrival at 8:30 p.m., departure at 5:35 p.m.): Beirut – Doha
The flights ME2426/ME2427, added to the schedule, will transport all passengers of the canceled flights ME428/429 on June 23, as well as 80 passengers from flights ME430/431 that were also canceled the previous evening. The regular flights ME430/ME431 will allow 80 passengers who could not embark the previous night to be redirected.
For the passengers of flight ME437, initially scheduled on June 23 from Doha, a rescheduled flight numbered ME1437 will depart from Doha on June 24 at 2:00 p.m. heading to Beirut.
