Health Minister Rakan Nassereddine, representing President Joseph Aoun, received a donation of ambulances from Belarus at Beirut airport, gifted by its President Alexander Lukashenko.

The ceremony was attended by a Belarusian delegation, notably led by Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Delegation Victor Karankevich, as well as Deputy Speaker of the Belarusian House of Representatives Vadim Ipotov, Deputy Minister of Industry Andrei Kuznetsov, and Belarusian Ambassador to Lebanon, Yury Sluka.

“This gesture is a gift from the President of Belarus and the Belarusian people, aimed at strengthening cooperation and friendship between our two countries,” said Karankevich. He expressed hope that this donation “will help support the health sector in Lebanon and provide medical care to the Lebanese people.”

“You can consider the Republic of Belarus as a reliable partner, in order to build relationships based on mutual trust and respect,” he stated.

Nassereddine thanked Belarus and its president for this “generous donation of ambulances and equipment.”
