On April 15, Jordanian authorities announced the arrest of 16 individuals on terrorism charges. Just over a week later, Interior Minister Mazen al-Faraya declared that the Muslim Brotherhood — accused of being behind the alleged plot — would be banned from all activity in the kingdom.
