The full-scale war between Hezbollah and Israel from September to November last year, extending almost a year of clashes in south Lebanon, had driven away all international airlines, leaving the national airline, Middle East Airlines, alone to maintain connections between Lebanon and the rest of the world until the cease-fire took effect on Nov. 27, 2024.
