What does Hezbollah's disarmament really mean?


The slogan "Hezbollah's disarmament" has been increasingly mentioned in political statements since the end of the war. But what exactly does it entail? According to Israeli officials on the eve of the cease-fire that came into effect on Nov. 27, the Israeli army claimed to have destroyed 80 percent of Hezbollah's military capabilities. Since that date, the Israeli army has repeatedly bombed the party's military installations in the Bekaa Valley and the south. Logically, one might easily believe there should be little left of the remaining 20 percent...
