The Palestinian Red Crescent claims to have found 14 rescuers killed on Sunday, following Israeli fire a week ago on ambulances in the southern Gaza Strip.

"The number of bodies recovered now stands at 14, including eight paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent teams, five members of the Civil Defense and one United Nations agency employee," the medical organization said in a statement. It refers to teams from the Red Crescent and Civil Defense that had been reported missing since Israeli soldiers fired on ambulances on March 23.
