Lebanese Army frees kidnapped Syrian minor in Baalbeck

The Lebanese Army announced on Tuesday that it freed a minor of Syrian nationality who was kidnapped for ransom in the village of Hortaala in the Baalbeck region.

A unit of the Lebanese Army "raided the kidnapper's residence and succeeded in freeing the child," the army said in a statement. They also mentioned having arrested A.H., the kidnapper's wife, and seized a pistol, a sum of money and drugs. The army added that they are continuing their operations to arrest the kidnapper.
