Prime Minister Nawaf Salam went to Baabda Palace on Tuesday at 3 p.m. for a meeting with President Joseph Aoun. He left an hour later without making a statement, according to the state-run National News Agency (NNA).
The discussions will focus on the appointments of the heads of the security apparatuses, two days before the government meeting scheduled for Thursday at the presidential palace.
