After the army’s intelligence services arrested on Sunday in Akkar J.C. and R.S. for their involvement in the murder of Khalil Khalil (19 years old) in Faraya, Kesrouan, the day before, the State Security service arrested J.C.’s girlfriend and mother in the evening on the Kesrouan coast. A search warrant has been issued for J.C.’s stepfather. The four arrested persons were brought before the judicial police on Monday, which began the investigations under the supervision of Samer Lichaa, advocate general at the Mount Lebanon Court of Appeal. Once the investigations are completed, the case will be forwarded to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for further investigation, including witness interviews and the search for any other persons involved.
