A Christmas nativity scene was destroyed in the village of Shadra in Akkar, in the far north of Lebanon, sparking outrage amongst residents. They have called on the Internal Security Forces (ISF) to investigate this matter as quickly as possible, as "such incidents harm community values and traditions," according to statements reported by our correspondent.
According to him, the ISF intelligence branch in the village of Qobeiyat was supposed to arrest later in the day the driver of the van used during this burglary. The investigation is ongoing.
