BEIRUT — Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces (ISF) announced the arrest of a Syrian man who had entered the country illegally, carrying two grenades.
The arrest took place on Dec. 30 in the northern town of Halba, Akkar, following an ambush by the ISF's intelligence branch. The man, reportedly 23 years old, has been referred to judicial authorities for further investigation, according to the statement.
