It’s a breath of fresh air. The weakening of Hezbollah during its last war with Israel and, above all, the fall of the Assad regime in Syria seem to be perceived by Shiite intellectuals hostile to the Iran-aligned party as an opportunity to present a ‘new political discourse’ in line with the major changes in Lebanon and the region.
