A video circulating online and in local media shows two people on a motorcycle advancing through an impressive underground tunnel that was reportedly discovered in the mountainous region of Qalamoun, in western Syria near the Lebanese border, three days after the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime. These images, released on Dec. 11, are reminiscent of those of a Hezbollah tunnel that the party shared last summer, during its war with Israel.The video was broadcast on Al-Jazeera, which described it as "the immense secret tunnel" located in Qutayfa, a town located about 40 kilometers northeast of Damascus, on the main roads leading from the Syrian capital to Aleppo or Palmyra, and about ten kilometers as the crow flies from the Lebanese border.In the video, one of the two men who rush into the huge complex cannot hide his surprise: "Trucks!...
