The Gaza Health Ministry announced Saturday a new death toll of 44,176 in the Palestinian territory since the start of the war with Israel over a year ago.
At least 120 people have been killed in the past 48 hours, according to a statement, which also reported that 104,473 people have been injured in Gaza since the war began. The conflict was triggered by an unprecedented Hamas attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.
