Gaza's Civil Defense announced this morning that 19 people, including children, were killed in Israeli airstrikes and shelling overnight in various parts of the Palestinian territory.

Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Bassal told AFP: '' 19 Palestinians were killed and more than 40 others injured in three massacres caused by Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip between midnight and this morning,'' as well as in tank shelling in Rafah, in the south.
