An Israeli airstrike killed 11 people and injured five others in Saksakieh, a village in the Saida district, reported the Directorate General of Civil Defense. Search operations remain ongoing. 

Earlier, the Health Ministry reported that at least seven people, "mostly women and children," were killed in the strike.

According to the official National News Agency (NNA), the airstrike "targeted a house" in this coastal village, which is located relatively far from the Israeli border.
