The Lebanese army reported that one of its bulldozers was targeted by Israeli army on Monday while working to reopen the road between Burj Qallawiyeh, in the Bint Jbeil district, and Kfar Dounine, in the Nabatieh district. One soldier was wounded in the attack, the Lebanese Army's statement added.
Earlier in the day, our correspondent in southern Lebanon reported that an Israeli drone had targeted a bulldozer clearing rubble in Burj Qallawiyeh.
Last Thursday, three Lebanese soldiers, including an officer, were killed by Israeli fire in southern Lebanon, near the border.
