In Bekaa, L'Orient Today's correspondent reported that the Matraba strike left at least two dead and nine wounded, according to data from Hezbollah's Islamic Health Committee. One person is still missing.
Hezbollah claimed to have successfully attacked at 6 p.m., and with a squadron of drones, the Israeli base of Naora, located east of Afula, a town south of Nazareth and far from the Lebanese-Israeli border .
Then, at 7:30 p.m., a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the town of Hatsour (near Safed) was targeted by a salvo of rockets.
Axios reporter Barak Ravid wrote on X, citing three Israeli sources, that one of the main targets Israel attacked as part of its retaliation against Iran was 12 "planetary mixers," a key industrial piece of equipment for Iran's ballistic missile program.
The Iranian military acknowledged that military radar sites were damaged in the Israeli attack, but said "some of them were already being repaired," according to the Associated Press, cited by Haaretz.

The Israeli army's Arabic-language spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, reported on the X network that "paratroopers" attached to the Israeli army's 98th division and the "Yahalom engineering unit" had used 400 tons of explosives to detonate a "strategic underground military installation that Hezbollah had built over the past 15 years," without specifying the location.

The Amal Movement, an ally of Hezbollah, also issued a statement condemning the Israeli aggression against Iran, calling it "an attack on the national sovereignty" of the Islamic Republic by a "Zionist terrorist state that violates all international laws and norms."
The movement said that this new Israeli escalation constitutes "a desperate attempt to inflame the region."
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, more precisely its Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of this group, announced in a statement the death of one of its officers, Lieutenant Souleimane Abdelkarim al-Ahmad, "Abu Radwan" killed on the Lebanese-Israeli border, without further details on the circumstances of his death.

“The situation in northern Gaza is dire,” Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on X, stressing that “a severe shortage of medical supplies, combined with severely restricted access, is depriving people of life-saving care.”
In a statement released early this evening, Hezbollah "strongly condemned the perfidious Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran," calling it a "dangerous regional escalation." Hezbollah said it fired rockets at a group of Israeli soldiers east of the village of Markaba (Marjayoun district) at 4:15 p.m.
Citing the Iranian news agency Sabreen, which is linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force, Haaretz reported that four people were killed in the Israeli retaliatory strikes at dawn in Tehran, including two soldiers.
Hezbollah announced that it fired rockets at the town of She'ar Yashuv in northern Israel and the Snir barracks at 4:10 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. respectively.

Citing the Israeli military, Haaretz reports that 130 rockets were fired from Lebanon toward Israel in the past two hours .
One person was killed in an Israeli drone strike that targeted a motorcycle in the village of Majdal Selm (Marjayoun), according to L'Orient Today's correspondent in the south.
The Israeli army said on Saturday that a Palestinian fighter belonging to the armed wing of Hamas was killed during a raid in Tulkarm, a city located in the western occupied West Bank.
In a joint statement, the Israeli army, police and the Shin Bet internal security agency said they had carried out an "anti-terrorist operation in Tulkarm to eliminate Islam Odeh," accused of preparing "terrorist attacks."
During the operation, Odeh "opened fire on security forces, who surrounded him and returned fire," the statement said.

A 13th plane from Saudi Arabia carrying humanitarian aid has landed in Beirut, the official National News Agency (NNA) reports. This aid is part of the humanitarian airlift established by Riyadh since the escalation by Israel in Lebanon. The cargo includes food supplies and sanitary products.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz warned Tehran today against any “escalation” following Israeli strikes on Iranian territory.

Caretaker Lebanese Information Minister Ziad Makari announced at a press conference that Lebanon has filed a complaint with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights following the deaths of three Lebanese journalists killed in an Israeli strike yesterday in Hasbaya, southern Lebanon.
"The government has taken the necessary measures regarding the attack that killed the journalists and the attempted murder of others who were also in Hasbaya. Yesterday, the prime minister spoke with the foreign minister, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs filed complaints with the High Commissioner in Geneva. I believe a complaint will also be submitted to the UN Security Council and UNESCO. The Ministry of Information has also reached out to UNESCO on this matter," Makari stated.
One of the sites targeted by Israel in its attack on Tehran Province was the S-300 air defense system at Imam Khomeini International Airport, The New York Times reported, citing two Iranian officials, including a member of the Revolutionary Guards.

It is likely a "Syrian interceptor missile fired at Israeli planes last night," while Israel was conducting strikes on Syria and Iran in retaliation for Iran's ballistic missile attacks on Israel earlier in October, the source added.

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli airstrikes in Iran and called for “restraint and dialogue to avoid regional instability,” Reuters reports, citing the ministry.
“No military aircraft have been permitted” to cross Jordanian airspace by any conflicting regional parties, a source from the armed forces told Jordanian state media, following Israeli strikes on military targets in Iran, Reuters reports.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that “Iran must not respond” to Israeli strikes on military targets, during a press conference at the Commonwealth summit in Apia, Samoa, AFP reports.
“It is clear that Israel has the right to defend itself against Iranian aggression, and it is equally clear that we must avoid further regional escalation. I urge all parties to exercise restraint,” he said.
Hamas condemned “in the strongest terms” the Israeli strikes on military targets in Iran today, AFP reports.
These strikes are “a blatant violation of Iranian sovereignty and an escalation that threatens regional security,” the group, which is supported by Iran and has been in conflict with Israel in Gaza for over a year, said in a statement.
An Israeli drone attack targeted a car in the locality of Qana, in the Sour district in southern Lebanon, our correspondent reports. One person was hit, but their condition is not yet known.
The Iraqi government warned of “dangerous consequences” stemming from the “silence of the international community” in response to Israel’s “brutal behavior,” following a series of overnight strikes on military positions in neighboring Iran, AFP reports.
“Iraq has already warned of the dangerous consequences resulting from the international community’s silence toward Israel’s brutal behavior toward Palestinians, its attacks on Lebanon and Syria, and now its new aggression against Iran,” government spokesperson Basim Alawadi stated, accusing Israel of “expanding the conflict in the region” through “attacks committed with impunity.”
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry issued a statement condemning Israeli airstrikes in Iran, calling them a "dangerous escalation" that threatens regional stability, Reuters reports. In its statement, Pakistan urged the U.N. Security Council to take immediate action to stop what it described as Israel's "recklessness."

The funeral of a Lebanese Army officer recently killed by the Israeli army took place at the Military hospital in Beirut this morning.
Israeli aircraft carried out an attack on Ansar, a locality in the Nabatieh district in southern Lebanon, our correspondent reports.
Israeli aircraft attacked Tayr Debba, a locality in the Sour district, according to our correspondent.
Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid praised the Israeli air force for its overnight strikes in Iran in a message posted on X but stated that “the decision not to target strategic and economic sites in Iran was a mistake,” Haaretz reports.
“We could and should have made Iran pay a much heavier price. Iran is at the head of the axis of evil and must pay a high price for its aggression,” he added.

Developments in the Bekaa Valley overnight and this morning, according to our correspondent, Sarah Abdallah:
- Israeli attacks struck Amchke and Nabi Sheet in the Baalbeck district early this morning.
- A building between Douris and Ansar, near Deir Amel hospital, was targeted. An attack also struck a home in Brital belonging to a man named Abbas Assaad Saifeddine. The missile did not explode, and the Lebanese army intervened at the scene.

This morning, the Israeli army detonated houses in the village of Odaisseh (Marjayoun district) in southern Lebanon, as well as in the vicinity of Taybeh. The ground shook from the impact of these attacks, according to local residents.
Yesterday, the Israeli army caused similar explosions in Kfar Kila, in the same district. It has increased these types of operations since its escalation in Lebanon.
Here are the developments that occurred last night in southern Lebanon, according to our correspondent Muntasser Abdallah:
- After 9 p.m., Israeli aircraft attacked a neighborhood in the city of Nabatieh in the district under the same name.
- After 10 p.m., an Israeli attack on Nabatieh damaged the vocational training institute and the Moustapha schools in the city. Members of the al-Rissala Scouts (affiliated with the Amal movement) assisted in evacuating a family trapped in the vocational training institute building.
- After 11 p.m., an Israeli attack targeted Jmayjmeh, followed by another on Kfar Dounin (Bint Jbeil district). The locality of Ansar (Nabatieh district) was also struck.
- After 1 a.m., Israeli aircraft hit Mayfadoun (Nabatieh district).
Yesterday marked the highest number of attacks claimed by Hezbollah against Israel since Oct. 8, 2023, with 48 operations. These included strikes on Israeli positions as well as on Israeli forces that had entered southern Lebanon.
Overnight, Israel conducted "targeted and precise strikes on military objectives in several regions of Iran," according to a statement from its military following the attacks. "The objectives have been achieved," added the Israeli army, emphasizing that it targeted "missile production sites from which Iran had launched missiles toward Israel."
Tehran, meanwhile, reported that its air defense system successfully tracked and countered the Israeli "aggression," though some sites sustained limited damage. This indicates that both sides may be aiming to avoid escalation, though Tel Aviv has warned that Iran will pay a "high price" if tensions increase further.
