The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Saturday a new death toll of 42,175 in the Palestinian territory since the start of the war a year ago.
In the past 24 hours, 49 people have been killed, according to a statement from the ministry. It added that 98,336 people have been injured in the Gaza Strip since the war began on October 7, 2023, following Hamas' unprecedented attack on Israel.
