State Security patrols in North Lebanon on Tuesday expelled displaced Syrians occupying homes in the village of Karmasda (Zgharta) whose papers were not in order, according to a statement published by the state-run National News Agency (NNA).
The expulsions were carried out "after several warnings were issued to displaced Syrians who had not complied with the legal conditions of the locality of Karmasda," the text stated. Twelve homes were sealed and 75 Syrians were expelled, according to NNA.
