The Internal Security Forces (ISF) announced on Wednesday the arrest, on July 1, of a 48-year-old man who confessed to having molested a 13-year-old minor in South Lebanon, a statement reported.
The arrest came after the victim's father filed a complaint against the alleged assailant who works in a pastry shop in South Lebanon. The ISF office in Saida, the capital of the region, then arrested the suspect, a Lebanese national born in 1976, who confessed to committing the assaults he is accused of.
The suspect also confessed to showing an erotic video to the girl and having erotic discussions with her. He was handed over to the competent judicial authorities.
