Gasoline rises again, other fuel prices unchanged

Prices in Lebanese pounds for gasoline sold in Lebanon rose again on Tuesday, according to the latest price list updated by the Ministry of Energy and Water. Having been on the decline for some time, they first rose slightly last Friday, just before the New Year.

The Lebanese Lira price of diesel and domestic gas remained stable, while the price of fuel oil consumed by private generators, which is denominated in dollars, rose by a few cents.

Here are the new prices:

- 20 liters of 95-octane gasoline: 1,498,000 Lebanese pounds (+9,000 LL compared with Friday).

- 20 liters of 98 octane gasoline: LBP 1,538,000 (+ LBP 9,000).

- 20 liters of diesel (for vehicles): LBP 1,475,000 (unchanged).

- Domestic gas cylinder: LL 944,000 (unchanged).

- Kiloliter of fuel oil (used to power private electric generators): $761.53, up $0.22 on the last update.
