BEIRUT – Hezbollah lawmaker Hassan Fadlallah said on Friday that developments in the Gaza Strip, where Israel has resumed bombardment after a truce with Hamas expired, could still impact Lebanon.
"No one thinks that Lebanon has been spared from this Zionist targeting or that what is happening in Gaza cannot affect the situation in Lebanon," he told reporters.
The seven-day truce in Gaza that expired early on Friday had not formally included Lebanon but it did end weeks of daily cross-border shelling between Israel and Hezbollah, a Hamas ally.
