BEIRUT —  The Kuwaiti Embassy in Beirut on Sunday called on its nationals to leave Lebanon. The call comes on the 23rd day of the war between Hamas and Israel that has spilled over into south Lebanon, with cross-border fire leaving dozens dead.

In a message published on the X platform, the embassy asked Kuwaitis to register with it for repatriation, putting the following telephone number at their disposal: 0096171171441.

On Oct. 18, Kuwait advised its citizens not to travel to Lebanon.

Last week, Saudi Arabia evacuated 66 families attached to its diplomatic staff in Beirut. Other countries have already called on their nationals to leave Lebanon, including the United States and France.
