BEIRUT — A wedding turned tragic in Tripoli, North Lebanon, on Saturday after an argument between the two families degenerated into an exchange of fire, killing the bride's brother.
According to a security source, an altercation — the reasons for which are still unknown — broke out between the bride's brother and brother-in-law, which led to a shooting. The bride's brother, M. B., was killed by his new brother-in-law, who allegedly fled after the incident.

Army intelligence arrested three individuals suspected of involvement, according to the security source. An investigation is underway.
Incidents involving firearms are frequent in Lebanon, where weapons are widely circulated among the population.
