BEIRUT — Surrounded by a swarm of assistants, Charbel Lahoud is king in his Chaos Art Gallery, the exhibition space he opened six months ago in Beirut, named, he said, in reference to “the Chaos of creativity.”After the chaos that the 2020 Beirut port explosion caused to his apartment, which gravely damaged paintings, Lahoud decided to open an art gallery in the blast-hit neighborhood.
