BEIRUT — The Energy Ministry on Wednesday morning announced a slight increase in all fuel prices, except fuel oil. The new prices come as the Lebanese lira's continued depreciation approaches the threshold of LL90,000 to the US dollar on the parallel market.
Here are the new prices:
• Twenty liters of 95-octane gasoline: LL1,617,000, up by LL18,000
• Twenty liters of 98-octane gasoline: LL1,656,000, up by LL18,000
• Twenty liters of diesel: LL1,538,000, up by LL17,000
• The price of a domestic gas cylinder: LL1,084,000, up by LL12,000
• Kiloliter of fuel oil (used to supply private generators): unchanged at $798.48
