Iran rejected the suggestion that it is linked to the five arrests made at Britain's Fairford airbase, according to Sky News on Monday, which cited a statement from the Iranian Embassy in London.
The British police had arrested five men near a U.S. air base on suspicion of explosive and terrorism offenses on Sunday after a tip-off that three vans had been heading to the military airfield which has been used to strike Iran.
U.S. President Donald Trump previously said the suspects had been looking to do "big damage" and had been under investigation by British and U.S. authorities.
