11 people were killed in an explosion of undetermined origin at a military site in Deir Ezzor, eastern Syria, the Defense Ministry said Saturday.
The explosion occurred Friday, according to the ministry. Several explosions of undetermined origin have occurred at weapons depots in recent months, including one in northwestern Syria on Sept. 9 that killed 14 people.
